I stayed at Posada Mariposa at very beginning of October 2008 and spent 4 nights. It is not a luxury hotel but had everything I needed. I had a such a good time there, felt like home and very safe even I was travelling alone.
Very warm, nice atmosphere, very helpful and nice people. They are always there to answer your questions. Hotel is right on 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen and 2 minutes walk to the nicest beach Playa Mammita
I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to everybody.
P.S. Have dinner at Babe's if you like Thai Food on 5th Avenue, Calle 10, very good....
